Deceit is something that has been going on since people first starting walking the Earth. This means that it has been going on for a very long time. Well this is true in this case. The person gets the job and then they slack off and turn into the complete opposite person that they manipulated the supervisor into thinking they were. They could be lazy, immoral, and unruly when it comes to performing certain tasks. This could lead to the supervisor rethinking his decision of hiring the employee and he could end up firing him/her. Laziness is a sign and one of the ways of detecting deceit out of someone.
